Later he worked with many artists including, Bertus Borgers, Barry Hay, Sue Chaloner, Herman Brood, George Kooymans, Jan Akkerman, Kaz Lux, Hans Vermeulen, Dani Klein, Mathilde Santing, Ruth Jacott, Frederique Spigt in her band ‘A Girl Called Johnny’, Angela Groothuizen, Hind, Des’ray, Leonie Jansen, Do, Brigitte Kaandorp, Chris Hinze, Erwin Nyhof, Michel van Dijk, The Alessi Brothers, Harry Koster, Berget Lewis, Bob Color, Eddy’s Elektro Shop, Luna Mae, Isabelle Amé, Frank Boddin and Sarah Jane Wijdenbosch. In 2006 his debut solo album was released, Twisted Logic, an exemplar of the mixture of styles he has absorbed through the years. His unique stamp is clearly audible. As a composer he creates cyclical, serene melodies of which the opening track, Dalyan, is a fine example. The album also explores other genres from country to blues, from fusion to world music, visited with energy and emotion and taking the listener to new and exotic musical destinations.

In 2010 his southeast asian roots are in the spotlight again! Erwin produced and performed two Kroncong cd’s: one with Julya Lo’ko, Kroncong Baru, and one solo instrumental, Kroncong Baru Guitar. The latter being his second solo album.

Erwin’s inspirational influences include the music of Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, David Lindley, Ry Cooder, Jackson Browne, Chris Robinson, Chris Whitley, Daniel Lanois, Jaco Pastorius, Steve Gadd, Paco de Lucia, Ricky Lee Jones, The Band, and of course, The Stones, Beatles, Small Faces et al.
